Chandler is almost solid residential and actually a great place to live if you want a slightly less crime-infested neighborhood but still want the action of phoenix and tempe.
My roommates ended up moving there because the real estate is great and their mall (the Chandler fashion mall) is a pretty great one.
With the advent of the 202 running through Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, a bunch of new malls have been opened.
I’m not a shopper, but driving to a few people’s home over the holidays, I didn’t realize there were a couple new malls nearly as big as Chandler Fashion erected further East.
Though I live here, guess I don’t venture out as much to see how much growth there is here.
