I went to Nashville, TN for the North American Irish Dance Championships in 2005, which was held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Best time ever! I have so many amazing stories and memories from that trip, to eating at Cracker Barrel twice to the weird conductor/drum major walking down the street wearing a hip pack to the waitress who were my age that called me “ma’am”. Opryland is a beautiful hotel, even though I didn’t have much time to explore it because I was wrapped up in dancing most of the time.
