If you’re going to go to Nepal, see Kathmandu (stay in Thamel area), see the Himalayas, and then get down to the best city in the country, Pokhara. Pokhara is located on the edge of a lake (I spent an entire day canoeing on it once) at the edge of the Annapurna mountains. The beauty is breathtaking, the weather is warm, the fruits are tropial.
