    Savannah Historic District

    Worth visiting!

My hometown  — 1 year ago

I love Savannah! It’s the largest renovated historic district in the country. There is iron work fencing and cobblestone streets, horsedrawn carriages, as well as steamboats and lovely little parks all throughout the city called squares. There is an international art college there as well so there are art students everywhere with pink and purple hair, it’s such a diverse place. Spanish moss covered 200 year old live oak trees, palms, and in spring when the azaleas bloom it is breathtaking! There are little bed and breakfasts all over and the beach is only 15 min away. You will fall in love with Savannah too if you come here. : )

    New Orleans

    Not worth it!

Yes there are some cool places there..  — 1 year ago

but it was so dirty and grimy and there are hookers everywhere. I went 10 years ago and then again about 3 years ago, I just don’t get it, I was not impressed at all.It is so over romantized. I can’t imagine how it looks now after Katrina. If you are passing through, stop and check it out, but I would not plan a vacation around it.

    Winchester Mystery House

    Worth visiting!

This place was awesome!  — 1 year ago

It was the wildest place! Windows in the floor, doors that open to a one story drop, rooms with no doors to get into them, I remember seeing a show, that Ripleys Believe It Or Not, with Jack Palance about it when I was a kid, I always wanted to see it and it was so cool.. If you are ever in San Jose you gotta check it out.
