    Mount Saint Helens

    Worth visiting!

    Untitled  — 2 years ago

Unfortunately, when I was here, it was overcast and cloudy and we weren’t able to see the mountain because of the clouds. But the overall terrain is beautiful.

    City Dock

    Worth visiting!

The entire city of Annapolis is breath-taking, and if I’m lucky I’ll be moving there this coming August.

    Hoover Dam

    Worth visiting!

    Untitled  — 2 years ago

I cannot count how many times I’ve been to Hoover Dam, since I live in Las Vegas. We drive over it every time we go to Arizona, and have been on the tour (or the Dam[n] Tour, as we call it) at least 4 or 5 times. There isn’t much to look at, aside from the Colorado River and the turbines, which get old real quick.

One fact, though, that I’ve always enjoyed is that the cement in the center of the dam isn’t dry yet. But maybe I’m just weird?

And if you’re one of those people who believes that if Hoover Dam broke, Las Vegas would get flooded: you’re mistaken. We’re not downhill from the dam—Laughlin/Bullhead City is.
