I’ll think about it and come back. It is incredibly beautiful though.

Mountains surround you in Montana! I do believe this is the tallest range in the Rockies.A genuine western feel as you drive through the small towns and see the cowboys working the ranches.in Butte you can see a view of “Our Lady of the Rockies”,s statue of the virgin Mary, right on the continental divide.I also found it amusing that some of the hillsides were randomly dotted with huge letters.I finally asked a gas station clerk what that was and he told me that it was an ad for the local university

Odie’s big sky cafĂ©, Troy – Montana: good food for fair price and the old fashioned interior makes good for a laugh. Recommended!

My fiance and I are thinking of taking our honeymoon in Montana. We’ve never been but always wanted to go. It’s so beautiful we’d love to spend some time there.

Montana will always be one of my special places becasue of my many firsts there. New state, New Friends, First Hunbting Experiance, First Buck. Montana is a truely beautiful place I hope to return many times.

The western third is beautiful mountains; great for skiing and camping. If you’re at all interested in the history of the West, Montana has some great museums.
The Lady of the Rockies is a beautifully spiritual experience.
The eastern third is for those who like unconventional beauty. It’s commonly known as the “Badlands.” I grew up just a few blocks away from Makoshika State Park and would ride my bike out there at least once a month while growing up. The area is not flat so much as less mountainous. It is more canyons and gullies than mountains and valleys. :)

If it is the last thing that you do Go to Glacier national park, seeing is believing, winter really isn’t the greatest time to go, the roads will be bad and you can’t really see the Glaciers.

The land in Montana is unlike that anywhere else in the world—simply stunning. Go to a dude ranch and spend a week of your life riding horses through the fields and mountains. You will never want to go back to ‘civilization’.

We have friends there not too far from Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. Its easy to make a trip when you already have somewhere to stay.
