Pick Pockets!  — 1 month ago

Beware of the pick pockets working on virtually every train. They do not work alone. They team up to block and jostle you while you try to board and before you know you’ve been picked clean.

I have to admit that our trip to Barcelona wasn’t of the educational sort. (if you don’t count drinking till you puke educational…=) But if you’re looking for a place with great bars and nightclubs, Barcelona is the place for you! Of course there are many other things to Barcelona than this, but that’s the only thing we discovered while visiting. (exept from La Sagrada Familia – which was great by the way)
But if you’re going on a raging drinking trip to Barcelona, a budget will have shattered within the first night. Escpecially if you go to the nightclubs on the beach. We found a great nightclub by La Rambla which wasn’t too expensive, but at the same time it seemed to contain half of Spain’s population. This wasn’t the case of the nightclubs on the beach. There, you could dance, drink and actually stare at bartenders in bikini thongs or surfing shorts without thinking it was too hot or too crowded.;-) There is a reason Barcelona was named the city with the best nightlife of Europe.

It’s embarrassing when people who have been to a city once for a few days try to sound like experts on the place so I won’t,save to say I liked the place and thought, maybe I’m wrong,it was less chaotic than most Spanish cities.Plenty to see and do,yet still seemed manageable, definitely worth many visits.
