Częstochowa

greatest hits.

I think, Częstochowa is one of the greatest and most essential cities of the Poland. My favourite thing about it is he city centr. There are many designers shops and rustic restaurants. And when it’s summer, the best time to go out is about 5 or 6 o’clock, sun is going down and the atmosphere is so cool. I don’t know why but it reminds me some cities from italy and Czech city Prague. Climae in Częstochowa is so special. Things to do there:

• Visit Monastery
• Go to the forest (lasek aniołowski)
• Shop at Hexeline, Max Mara and Reserved
• Go to the Museums (of archeology -district=Raków-and the one in the city centre-NMP street)
• Go to the Iguana Club

It was eye-opening to see just how rude and mean people can be to each other even when they are at a sacred shrine.

I just realised I’ve been to Czestochowa in 2001, but we arrived in the night and left in the morning, and the only thing I remember is the hotel. On the way, of course, I saw the mountains, but I guess, in August, there’s not much skiing?
Should go there again in the season…

every time I visit Czestochowa and Jasna Gora it fills me with fresh feeling of getting close to God and eternity..
