Why I want to go to this place  — 1 year ago

Because they have some cool souvenirs.

There’s too much to do in an American 2-week vacation. I’ve heard people recommend anywhere from 4~6 weeks. Though, more than 8 weeks and I hear it gets pretty boring.

Oh, and good luck if you want to see God. He apparently has been on his own vacation for 13.69 Billion years now.

You really just need to be in the right place at the right time, you dig? Gotta know some of the key people into the exotic ingredients and such.

A rumor about this place  — 1 year ago

Depending on your point of view (any predestinationists out there?) this may be a pointless goal in the sense that there is little we can actually do of our own free will to accomplish this – if it was destined that we go, then we will go (and do everything necessary that goes along with that) – and if it wasn’t, then we won’t (and we won’t do something necessary to going there).

I’m not here to make a theological statement against predestination, and so that’s why I’ve decided to remove this from my list of places that I have as destination “goals”.

i hope to go there someday.  — 1 year ago

Everyone thinks Heaven is a place in the clouds with the pearly gates and whatnot, and for some people it is, but only for people who want it to be. What I’m trying to say is that when you die you go to a place that is an amalgamation of everything and everyone you enjoyed and experienced in life. It is a universe in its own in accordance to your tastes and design for life. You may want Heaven to be the classic image in the clouds and a bearded God, or you may want it to be a place of sex, partying and drugs with absolutely no God – there is no right or wrong because it is what YOU want. Earth is a purgatorial universe of rules and regulations and when you die you enter your own righteous afterlife in your own personal paradise. Who’s to say that a sin-free place of happiness is a good place? Wouldn’t this mean everyone is a drone lacking an identity? Everyone is different with different opinions and so every single person on this planet has their own version of Heaven – wildly different from everyone elses, then you will definitely have an identity. Of course I’m not saying I’m right I’m just contemplating an unanswerable question.
