San Luis Obispo

Was spent here…truly a good time spent with family and friends :) SPikes! woOohoOO…and nautical bean! Cafe andreni (sp) and sweet jesus did I say spikes? haha

My family lives here…it’s been a couple years since i’ve been home…

It’s pretty amazing. Make sure you go on a Thursday night, and visit Farmer’s Market on the main downtown streets. Go visit the mission, and walk by the creek. There are plenty of good restaurants, also.

Not much traffic, small town friendliness, beautiful weather, close to the beach, college town, home, I miss.

i used to live here for a little while and really enjoyed it—the friendly people, the safe neighborhood; i could walk everywhere. i loved the farmer’s market (thursdays) and the great areas around SLO. the central coast is a beautiful place.

I like to go once a year! I Like to stay in Cayucos and then go around to oceano and pismo! I love to have breakfast at that little resturaunt in cayucos..i dunno what its called but its like a littl emom and pops shop…anywho…I love being around the people and the weather is awesome there..never too hot

i bought a house in SLO last year and try to get there as much as I can. it’s an awesome town..my son goes to cal poly and lives in the house…..not like when i was in college….how times have changed..BEST FARMERS MARKET IHAVE EVER BEEN TO….

The Madonna Inn is luxurious! We got the cheapest room, and it had separate bedrooms and a bathroom and kitchen. Very roomy and comfortable. I’d definitely stay there again on my next cross-California road trip.

Next time I want to visit the Mission. We only drove by it while getting back on the freeway.

make sure you see bubble gum alley, which, as the name implies, is an alley covered with gum (and other stuff like photos and other ephemerata.) It is on Higuera St, just North of Broad St.

And of course there is so much else to do in San Luis Obispo. Hiking, biking, etc., Bubble Gum Alley is just the icing on the chewy chewy cake.
