i truly believe Maine is the place you go if you can’t get into Heaven. or if you are criminally insane.

It is absolutley beautiful there! It is small and quiet (I went in September)place. There is so much to see & do, the downtown area almost reminds me of New Orleans. I saw seals on the cruises and I found it to be very affordable. Beautiful place, I would love to go back!

Just went there for my Anniversary! I loved it. It was beautiful. I can’t wait to go back.

This town is great! Right on the water and very beautiful! We went on a whale watch, which I highly recommend, it was the best experience ever! Good food, great scenery, and cute little shops that aren’t nearly as touristy as other places. We ate at the Fish House Grill, which was awesome! We sat right on the deck and watched the water while eating and it was very reasonably priced! Service was nothing to write home about and the scallops were pretty gross, but the lobster was the best I’ve ever had and the shrimp was delicious!

This is the most beautiful place in the world, someday I hope to live here.

An awesome, beautiful vacation spot.

Bit crowded (at least in the summer), but nice.

It’s a great place to get away from the anxieties of everyday life. A friend of my family owns almost half of the town & lives on an island only accessible by boat at high tide (Gotts Island). He really has it good up there.

I love Bar Harbor. It’s a very cool place and so very far away from me. It’s very touristy and rich, but the foods amazing. the national park is great. you can just go find an empty spot and sit by yourself. Hunter’s beach is my fav. spot.

Oh yeah…food wise: my favorites are Ruppununis or something or another- they have the BEST crabcakes. The deck or quarter deck overlooking the docks has a great lobster roll. and for dinner there’s the one restaurant on the corner it’s white and has like open glass windows and is next to an equally as good italian restaurant. sorry i cant be more helpful w/the names!
