Sunset Strip

I think it was here that we went to a bar with a mechanical bull, and the hustler store. Classy!

Didn’t do much here though, just walked down the street and had pizza.

Let me prefrence this by saying that I am a Texas girl…. not to say i’m a cowgirl or whatever, but I’ve never lived anywhere but here…. i stayed at the “riot hyatt” when I visited LA. that’s where all the rock & roll stars stay when they play la….. but i wan’t that impressed…. anyway, it was really funny cause right across the street was the house of blues, very “rock & roll”... then just down the street there was a jack in the box!! it was hillarious!!

I regard it as a necessary and handy spot to get from one place to the other and/or to go to to see shows (though honestly and to my surprise I haven’t been in a while to the usual spots like the Roxy and the Whisky, and every time I pass by absolutely NONE of the names on the marquees ring a bell—times do change).

where the rich and famous live

My friends and I went on Sunset every Saturday night… It was like a party all night… We would usually arrive around 11 pm and wouldn’t leave until 3 am when the police would start shutting it down… Those were good times…

It’s really a different place out in CA. Lots of cool cars, older cars too. Everyone is golden brown (I’ve only got a monitor tan). Even dining is different, go grab sushi at a dive… w/ tom Green at the next table. Cool place to visit, I’ll pass on living there.
