Best ever infrastructure I have ever been to.

Lovely city, lovely roads, great place to shop and a good base if you want to explore the Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh(HP). The nearest hill station is Shimla, and other places in HP are also nearby. Do visit the Lake and Rock garden! Rock garden is an amazing place created entirely by common garbage and waste by Nek Chand

I stayed there for about 14 years … office in sector 17 .. small lovely city .. with energetic , lively people around.
Now this city is expanding on all sides to become next metro…if u include adjacent urban developments… which are also on similar lines.

The best thing is the greenary aroung there which is hardly seen anywhere i India. the planning infrastructure and people are all excellent. amust visit place and it also comes on way to Shimla and beautiful noth mountains-Himalyas

THE LOVELY CITY…NOTHING ELSE COULD BE SAID,The last time I visited India in May 2005,,,,, We went to Sector 17 , did a bit of Shopping….Nice Place to spend money…and we tried those CHHOLLE BHATURE on the other end of the shopping centre…they were nice …
Rose Garden is ok, Lake is also fine but a bit crowdy as compared to the people visiting there and the place..We had to be in the que for half an hour to get the Tickets for Boating… :-( But No worries about that,
I would like to go there again…

chandigarh is nt that good a place with slow people n nothin to cheer bout.THe gals r not that open at talks n r just kids at any age.people resist premarrital affairs like hell n even dont want others to go in it.So they call policen all if they find any bf n gf together enjoyin at some park place.The nite life really sucks.No crowd,all guys speakin punjabi that really sucks.
nothin to b cherished bout.its lot silent that makes it feel ike dead.

I was born and brought up in Chandigarh. The city is very different than most indian cities, and by and large, if you’re interested in getting a taste of modern india, this is a good start.

Apt name for this city, unarguable the most well planned city of India.

Chandigarh is a nice and well planned city. The special thing about this place its cleanness. Roads are wide and clean. City is beautiful. You can enjoy living here. If u plan to buy a home of your own. Come here you will like it.
