Why I want to go to this place  — 11 months ago

I can’t believe that while I was out there in the ‘80’s that we didn’t see this place. I was totally unaware of it, eventhough I was only 16. If I ever get back to Jamaica, I’m seeking this place out.

Bob Marley is a hero of mine so going to his house was a high point in my life . Everyone that participated had great energy about them and seemed to be really enjoying themselfes. I loved every second of the tour but if your stright edge be careful weed is offered everywhere.

Why I want to go to this place  — 2 years ago

Bob Marley it’s my favorite singer, I don’t really know what I can say about going at this place. I imagine there is a lot of bob’s statues, his history, songs, etc… for me it will be very very very exiting. Bob Marley it’s a legend and I want to feel it closer, so I think the museum it’s a good idea!!

After a long (aprox 1 1/2 hours) drive up through the fern vally and around the world drive, you end up in what looks like a car park. on leaving the jeep that drove us there i noticed a nice little hole in the wall, a serving hatch? A SMOKIN AREA !!
it was quite funny. we did the tour around a couple of area’s, one of them was the mount zion where bob meditated or something, then onto the house where he lived as a child and then later when he was a man. his grandma’s house that his mum now owns and the single bed he sang about in his song, you also get to see the tomb that he is lying in. Overall, quite a good tour. quite entertaining, but not worth the money.(unless you get to knock the smoking sellers down on the weed)lol…

Behind a statue to Brother Bob you will see a very moving tribute!

This is a great place to learn about the History of Jamaica, and the life of Jamaicans.

Marley is more then a musician, he was a leader.
