The Exploratorium is one of my favorite places to go when I am in San Francisco.

If you attend College or University don’t forget your student I.D. – they will happily give you a discount.

The Exploratorium was my favorite place in the world when I was little, and it still ranks wayyyyy up there. Calling it a museum doesn’t do it justice. It goes beyond that – corny as it may sound, it’s an experience, and one that seems to have no bounds. I’m sure that in the 15+ years I’ve been going there, I haven’t seen everything. I’m only sad that I don’t live in the Bay Area anymore and therefore don’t get to go as often.

What a great, nerdy place to play!

Had so much fun here, spent hours (but still not enough), exploring and checking out how things work! One of the sales assistants showed us the most amazing dance routine – very funky!
I loved all the gizmos and gadgets in the shop as well. Bought some fantastic stuff!
A must see if you love anything fascinating!
