Mount Vesuvius

I loved to hike to the top, the view is beautiful, the red sand and stones are especial, but one hour is far not enough to entirely discover and enjoy it.

Even though I almost had a panic attack climbing up (I’m afraid of heights) the view was SO worth it!

the views are spectacular, well worth the hike.

All that I’d hoped it would be. It’s fuming away very nicely.

Driving in through the old crater was amazing. The hike to the top was easy. The views from the top are breathtaking!!

I’m a bit dodgy with heights so climbing to the top of a volcano probably wasn’t the best idea – but there’s an absolutely amazing view across the Bay of Naples. And you can look down into the crater of the volcano and see plumes of sulpherous smoke rising.
